Leather Scrap Piece
This high-quality 8" x 6" piece of leather scrap comes in multiple colors and two different weights. Great for lots of different leather working projects! You can use a 5–7 oz leather scrap piece to make zipper pulls and leather washers for any Klum-house bag. The 8–10 oz leather strap is great for making the backpack strap reinforcement piece for the Slabtown Backpack.
- 5–7 oz Black and Chestnut are chrome tanned chap leather
- 5-7 oz Tan is veg-tanned tooling leather
- 8–10 oz of all colors are veg-tanned English bridle leather (great for stamping!)
Our Materials
Waxed Canvas
A densely-woven cotton fabric that's saturated with wax, giving it protection against the elements. It shows scuffs and creases that blend into a weathered patina. *fabric colors vary in weight from 10-12oz
Leather
Sourced from Oregon and a Pennsylvania tannery, and hand-selected for quality. Our hides are cut into straps with a hydraulic press to ensure precision and consistency.
Hardware
Hardware takes a bag from looking homemade to professional—and it's not hard to do! Using basic tools, you can set rivets & more. All our hardware is real metal and built to last.
